  2. Each file appears as a row with a thumbnail and page count.
  3. Reorder files using the ‹ › buttons until the sequence is right.
  4. Click "Merge PDFs" to combine them locally in your browser.
  5. Click "Download Merged PDF" to save the combined file.

How to Reorder Files Before Merging

  1. Find the file you want to move in the queue list.
  2. Use the ‹ button to move it earlier, or › to move it later.
  3. The final PDF follows this exact top-to-bottom order.
  4. Double-check the sequence before merging — it can't be changed afterward without starting over.

How to Remove a File From the Merge

  1. Locate the file in the queue list.
  2. Click the ✕ button on that row to remove it.
  3. The remaining files keep their relative order.
  4. Use "Clear all" to start over from scratch.

How to Merge Scanned Pages With a Typed Document

  1. Upload both the scanned PDF and the typed document as separate files.
  2. Place them in the order you want them to appear — for example, cover letter first, scan second.
  3. Merge as usual. Each file's pages keep their original quality.
  4. If the scan is large, consider compressing it first with Zento's Compress PDF tool.
